Reacher Grabber Tool for Elderly — Foldable, Rotating Head

The two most dangerous places in the house are the top shelf and the floor.

One tempts you onto a step-stool. The other asks your back and your balance for more than they want to give. Between them sit a hundred small daily retrievals — the dropped keys, the tin at the back, the sock behind the machine — and every one is a small risk taken for a small thing.

The reacher takes the risk out. Nearly a metre of light aluminium with a gentle trigger-grip claw that picks up anything from a dropped pill to a full tin — then folds in half to live beside the armchair, in the car door, or hanging in the laundry.

Why people love it

• High shelves and floor level, both without a ladder and without bending
• A light squeeze, a sure hold — the spring does the gripping for you
• Rotating head — grabs flat, upright or at any awkward angle
• Folds flat — most owners end up wanting one per floor

How to use — 3 steps

1. Unfold until it clicks — the joint locks straight and solid.
2. Squeeze the trigger — the rubber jaws close gently around the object.
3. Lift, place, release — ease off the trigger to let go.

Made for

• Anyone told to stay off ladders — by a doctor, or by someone who loves them
• Backs, hips and knees that have earned a rest from floor duty
• Wheelchair and limited-mobility households — extends reach in every direction

Good to know

• Lightweight aluminium; non-slip rubber jaws
• Best for everyday items — not heavy pots or anything hot
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth
